The Holmes Report International Ranking Names Mikhailov & Partners Group Biggest Communications Consultancy in Central and Eastern Europe
The global PR industry journal The Holmes Report yesterday published its TOP 250 ranking of the world’s biggest communications companies. In the 2014 financial year, Mikhailov & Partners Group took first place amongst the PR agencies of Central and Eastern Europe.
Thanks to a 39.4% increase in fee income – the key indicator used to compile the ranking – relative to 2013, Mikhailov & Partners moved a full nine places up the ranking, from 62nd to 53rd, to become the leading agency in Central and Eastern Europe. The publication of the ranking is traditionally accompanied by a review of the state of the global PR services industry. In 2014, the PR services market expanded by 7% to reach $13.5 bn. Approximately 85,000 people work in the sector worldwide, with an average income per consultant of $158,000 per annum - the highest level in the entire history of PR. Growth is strongest in United States, where profits went up 7.8%.

Russian companies have been taking part in the ranking since 2011, with nine of them making the TOP 250 in 2014.
