Mikhailov & Partners Supports Russian Young Media Managers Rating 2016
The official awards ceremony for winners of the 5th Russian Young Media Managers Rating 2016 was held in the Michurin Garden at VDNKh in Moscow on 15th September. Mikhailov & Partners acted as PR partner of the event.
The format of the awards ceremony was an unusual one this year: the winners planted 150 named trees in VDNKh’s Michurin Garden and took part in the opening of Media Avenue. The event was organized by Odgers Berndtson with support from CTC Media. Its information partners were Sostav.ru and Mail.ru Group.
The awards ceremony was attended by owners, senior executives, HR ad PR managers of major media firms, young media managers, participants and winners of the 2015 and previous ratings, media market experts, journalists representing the winning projects and other nominees.
“For the past five years, together with PWC, we have been compiling the Russian Young Media Managers Rating. We are working with leading experts, improving the methodology and constantly seeking out the most important people in the media market. Since it was founded, the rating has demonstrated its success and authority: many of the people included in the first rating are now already managing and developing major media companies. The format of this year’s awards ceremony is significant: young media managers are today laying the foundations of the Russian media industry, deciding what it will look like in the future. By planting trees, they are also making a direct contribution to the future. And just as we observe the professional development of our nominees’ careers and projects, they will return to Media Avenue to follow the growth of their named trees and gather fruit from the apple trees they themselves have planted”, said Roman Tyshkovskiy, Managing Partner at Odgers Berndtson.
“We value the Russian Young Media Managers Rating and want to see it develop. The Rating has become a kind of social elevator for those involved in it, and it is an important element of infrastructure for the entire industry. CTC Media supports young professionals. Their ideas and projects are important to us and many of them drive the entire industry forward. We support the Rating and congratulate the media industry on its 5th anniversary”, said Alexander Kostyuk, Deputy General Director for Strategic Development at CTC Media.
“This is not the first year that we have supported the Russian Young Media Managers Rating. And we have seen how it is changing in line with the hottest trends in the media market. Thanks to the Rating, we hear about new, outstanding and interesting people in the media industry who are capable of creating new forms and of changing the market. We wish a successful future to the Rating and professional success to its participants”, said Yulia Chirkova, HR Director at Mikhailov & Partners.
