Mikhailov & Partners appeared as IPO communications consultant for NOMOS-Bank
Financial communication practice team of Mikhailov & Partners jointly with press-service of the Bank, and with international partner devised and successfully implemented multipurpose program of communications with general public and investors. This program is geared towards main financial media, analytical experts, and also Russian and international investors. British communication agency Holloway and Associates acted as M&P’s international partner for IPO of NOMOS-Bank.
This transaction became first stock placement of privately owned Russian bank on London’s Stock Exchange. IPO volume of NOMOS-Bank on London’s Stock Exchange, RTS and MICEX combined total was $718 million, or 22% of Bank’s stock prior to exercising OAO (Over-Allotment Option). Offered price assumes market capitalization of NOMOS-Bank at about 3.2 billion dollars US, or approximately 91 billion Russian rubles. Offer consisting of Stock and GDR went with reassignment, which shows high interest to this transaction.
Communication support for NOMOS-Bank IPO became third project of M&P in the last six months dealing with first stock offer by Russian companies in an international capital market. M&P’s Financial communications practice assisted with IPO of TransContainer on LSE, RTS and MICEX. TransContainer is the largest Russian joint-stock company in the field of modular container transportation and integration logistics. M&P also provided communications for IPO of heavy machinery building holding HMS Group.
Mikhailov & Partners offers to their clients various communications support services for IPO since 2004. Prior to that M&P acted as a consultant in stock placement on LSE, RTS and MICEX of such Russian companies as VTB, Seventh Continent, Commercial Sea Port of Novorossiysk, OGK-2, and OGK-5.
