INTER RAO UES wins two trophies at the Global Major Markets M&A Atlas Awards

The consolidation of energy assets carried out by INTER RAO in 2011 became a winner in the nominations Central and Eastern Europe Deal of the Year and Utilities Deal of the Year of the prestigious Global Major Markets M&A Atlas Awards.

As a result of a successful deal, INTER RAO had acquired stakes in 38 energy companies in the areas of power generation, heat generation, energy supply and engineering. The size of the transaction was approximately $10 billion.

J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Troika Dialog acted as financial advisers on the deal.
