New Appointments at Mikhailov and Partners. Strategic Communications Management

Mikhailov and Partners, the leading Russian strategic communications company, announces staff changes which will strengthen the company’s PublicAffairs profile.

Yanina Kaznadeeva, who previously headed the company’s Practice of Government Accounts, has been appointed to the position of Managing Director.

Yanina has worked in communications since 1997, and joined the Mikhailov and Partners team in 2002. Under her management numerous major projects have been implemented in communications support of institutions for infrastructural and economic development, media advice to federal and regional departments, and in creating detailed and anti-crisis solutions in the transport sphere.

A massive information campaign on the monetisation of rail transport concessions, which was completed under the leadership of Mrs Kaznadeeva, was awarded the Silver Archer prize, a national award in public relations.

In her new post Yanina Kaznadeeva will develop Mikhailov and Partners’ expertise in Public Affairs, and expand the company’s presence in information support for socio-political and state initiatives.

The newly established Public Affairs Practice will be headed by Yulia Koktysh, who has worked in public relations and strategic communications advice since 2004.

Yulia was the first to develop and successfully introduce scenarios for managing multi-component media formats within all the largest industrial events. Among them are: Russia Forum, International Forum for Nanotechnologies, and Renaissance Capital Investors’ Conference. In addition, Yulia was responsible for the development and support of several programmes for the RF Ministry of Education and Science, Moscow’s Committee for Tourism, and the Department of Employment and Social Protection at the Government of the Khanty-Mansy Autonomous District Yugra.

Under Yulia Koktysh’s leadership the Public Affairs Practice will focus on implementing projects in mass communications management, and also continue working on communications support for various aspects of the work of government institutions and companies with state participation.
