Mikhailov & Partners Reach Finals of SABRE Awards 2014
The “Creating Peace for the Future” project for state corporate Rosatom has been shortlisted for the SABRE Awards 2014 EMEA in the BUSINESS-TO-BUSINESS, ENERGY AND NATURAL RESOURCES category.
Creating Peace for the Future is a unique project aimed at enhancing awareness of Russian nuclear technologies in four Asian countries: India, China, Vietnam and Bangladesh. Rosatom is currently one of the few state corporations exporting integrated projects, including sophisticated technologies, training programmes and off-the-shelf loan schemes. Mikhailov & Partners was therefore tasked not only with creating a positive image around Russian nuclear energy in the Asian region, but also with partially improving the reputation of Russia itself, which is mistakenly perceived in some countries as exclusively an exporter of energy resources.
The competition finalists have been chosen from a record number of entrants: over 2,400 applications were submitted for the SABRE Awards 2014 in the EMEA region. The winners will be announced on 20th May at a gala dinner in London.
The international SABRE Award for branding, reputation management and public relations was established over 10 years ago by the global professional publication The Holmes Report. Every year, leading communications and PR agencies from around the world enter their most exciting and effective projects and solutions in the competition. The projects are judged by top European experts in the fields of public relations and marketing communications.
