Mikhailov & Partners Participates in Round Table on Organizing Effective Social Advertising Campaigns about Health


On 10th June, Julia Emm, Director of the Business Communications Practice, and Polina Belyaeva, head of the Healthcare project team, supported a round table run by the Association of Communications Agencies of Russia (AKAR) entitled "How to Organize an Effective Social Advertising Campaign about Health".

Taking part in the discussion were representatives of the Russian Ministry of Health, AKAR, and advertising and communications agencies working with the Ministry of Health. The experts discussed modern communications tools and looked at practical examples of advertising campaigns in the healthcare sector and promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

The speakers from Mikhailov & Partners talked about the nationwide health assessment programme and shared their professional experience of running an information campaign for the project. It is no secret that informing the general public about health screening and getting the younger audience to take an interest in their health is quite a challenge. But thanks to an integrated communications programme including, in addition to other tools, an extensive outdoor campaign as part of the project, over 17 million people were given health check-ups in 2013.
