Ellen Pinchuk, Deputy CEO of Mikhailov & Partners, has taken part in the Limmud Belarus 2016 international education conference, which was held in Minsk, Belarus, from 13th to 15th May.
The Limmud conference was held in Belarus as part of the Limmud CISA project, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. It is one of the most important and widely anticipated Jewish cultural and educational events, open to absolutely everyone who is interested. The conference’s General Partner is the Union of Belarusian Jewish Organizations and Communities. Other partners include the Embassy of the State of Israel in the Republic of Belarus and numerous Jewish and Israeli organizations with a presence in Belarus.
Attended by more than 700 people from every region of Belarus, as well as from Russia, Moldova, Ukraine, Israel, the United States and other countries, the event included almost 150 sessions: training courses, master classes, concerts, excursions, exhibitions and lectures on a wide range of subjects, from spiritual issues and journeys into history, to the secrets of Jewish cuisine. There were also two separate programmes for children aged 5-10 and 11-13, respectively.
During the conference, Ellen Pinchuk gave a presentation entitled “10 Secrets of Public Communication: interviews and speeches”.
“I’m delighted to be taking part in such a lively and fascinating event, where there is a constant feeling of celebration combined with opportunities for active learning and development in all sorts of areas. Communication skills are the foundation of success in any undertaking, be in it business or public activity, and our key task must be to constantly improve them”, said Ellen Pinchuk, Deputy CEO of Mikhailov & Partners.
