The “Internal Communications for Business – 2013” national forum on improving business processes is to be held on 4-5 April 2013.
The main topic of discussion will be how to make company management more efficient with the help of internal communications.
Asya Pomeranets, Director of the Social and Internal Communications Practice at Mikhailov & Partners, will take part in the Forum as a round table speaker. She will share her experience of building internal communications in major Russian and foreign companies, and talk about how to work with senior company management to engage them in the process.
“In our technological and information age internal communications are becoming especially important.
Technologies are a necessary but insufficient condition for successful business. Moreover, technology is less and less a source of competitive advantage, as it very quickly becomes available to all.
In this situation human capital plays a decisive role in many sectors.
People are the key component of any successful business and, consequently, the key focus of attention for senior managers. Those managers (companies) who are first to understand the benefits of motivating their staff are the market winners. A motivated team of professionals is an opportunity to improve labour productivity many times over in both physical and intellectual terms. Building effective internal communications is a win-win process: there are no losers; all parties win, including society as a whole. The most important thing managers need to understand is that internal communications and staff motivation are not charity, but investment,” said Pomeranets.
The guests and participants of the Forum will also discuss the following issues:
· How to manage a company more efficiently with the help of internal communications;
· How to instil corporate culture, ideology and company goals in the minds and hearts of its employees;
· How to overcome communication barriers inside a company;
· How to make corporate media more effective;
· How to organize employee feedback;
· How to assess the performance of the internal communications function.
Forum speakers will include: Andrey Belyak (ONEXIM), Dmitriy Lobach (Gazprom Neft) Yulia Petukhova (Sberbank of Russia), Yuriy Grigoryan, (Alfa Capital) Anastasia Maksimova (Raiffeisenbank), Yegeniya Mogileva (Cocal-Cola Hellenic in Russia), Yelena Kovaleva (Severstal), Ivan Sorokin (PepsiCo Russia), Oksana Tokareva (METRO Cash&Carry), Yekaterina Belousova (ENTER Svyaznoy), Natalya Soloshenko (Megafon) and many others.
