Applications Now Being Accepted for 2014 Russian Young Media Managers Ranking

Information is now being gathered for the annual Russian young media managers ranking. From today, participants can be registered on the www.youngmediaman.ru website. Applications will be accepted until 15th January 2015.

For the fourth year in a row, Odgers Berndtson, one the biggest international companies in the field of top-flight executive search, assessment and development, in partnership with PwC in Russia and with communications support from Mikhailov & Partners, is compiling the young media managers ranking, which will name the best professionals in the industry up to the age of 35. It will include heads of Russian TV companies, radio stations, web projects and print media, together with managers of media assets in four categories: CEO, Content Creation, Commerce, and Company/Product Promotion.

The main aim of the ranking is to contribute to the development of the media market in Russia by identifying young industry leaders with high potential for growth and public recognition of their achievements, while also discovering new names. The project offers a snapshot of tomorrow’s HR market, which is particularly important for employers and investors.

The ranking helps young managers to gain a reputation within the media community to build a successful career, while enabling acknowledged leaders to affirm their importance in the industry.

Applications for inclusion in the ranking can be submitted via the Propose a Candidate section of the project website at www.youngmediaman.ru.

The ranking is compiled on the basis of information received via various channels:

-          self-nominations;

-          recommendations from official representatives of media companies;

-          recommendations  from Odgers Berndtson or PwC based on publicly available information on a manager’s age and position;

-          recommendations  by participants in last year’s ranking.

Registration of candidates is open until 15th January 2015.
