7th Reputation Management Conference in Moscow
The first session, which focused on recession-time reputation management, featured a presentation on PR support of business restructuring and M&As by Juliana Slaschova, Mikhailov & Partners’s President.
“While the number of mergers and acquisitions is expected to increase tenfold in Russia, it should be noted that they are becoming less speculative during the crisis; assets are acquired either for integration, or for management. In these circumstances, communications are much more important as an efficient tool for pre-acquisition activities, integration, and maximization of synergies,” Juliana Slaschova said.
The first session continued with an open discussion of how the strategic communication market has evolved. Juliana Slaschova was a moderator in the panel. Other participants included Petr Greiding (Basic Element), Maria Zhog (Troika Dialog), Natalya Mandrova (Primum Mobile investor relations consultancy), Igor Petrov (Onexim Group), Georgy Soustin (Nycomed Russia-CIS ), and Yakov Minevich (R.I.M. Porter Novelli).
